These terms apply to your use of BiteType!, a browser typing game available at playbitetype.com. By using the site, you agree to these terms.

Using The Game

You may play BiteType! for personal, educational, and non-commercial entertainment. You are responsible for your own device, browser, network connection, and any local data stored by your browser.

No Accounts Or Purchases

BiteType! currently has no accounts, subscriptions, in-game purchases, or payment features.

Gameplay Results

BiteType! may collect anonymous gameplay results from standard non-practice runs to improve the game and prepare future benchmark or ranking features. Public rank display may be disabled while enough real results are collected. We may remove or exclude results that appear automated, abusive, impossible, or inconsistent with normal play.

Classroom Mode

BiteType! Classroom lets teachers create class links, choose a class round, and view student display names and class results. Teachers are responsible for sharing the student link only with the intended class and keeping the teacher dashboard link private. Students should use an appropriate display name requested by their teacher. Classroom results stay inside the class and are not submitted to the global result pool.

Acceptable Use

Do not use the site to interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, abuse operational endpoints, or submit fake or automated gameplay results, enter misleading classroom names or student names, or violate applicable law.

Intellectual Property

BiteType!, including its game design, code, visuals, audio, text, and branding, is owned by its respective rights holders. Credits and third-party notices are listed at Credits / Licenses.

Support And Feedback

Public GitHub feedback links are not offered because the repository is private. Feedback and support requests can be sent to [email protected]. If you send suggestions, you allow us to use them to improve the game without obligation to compensate you.

Availability

The game is provided as-is and may change, break, or be unavailable from time to time. We may update or remove features at any time.

Disclaimers And Limits

To the fullest extent allowed by law, BiteType! is provided without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages related to your use of the site.

Changes

These terms may be updated as the game changes. The "Last updated" date will change when the terms are revised.
